Alison-- my basset Zoe died last month and we are still missing her so much. I feel for you, no matter how short or long her time with you was, the pain is there to deal with. You did the right thing; we can't let these gentle creatures suffer. And yes... I believe she will be met on the other side.

So cute I had to look but very sad story. I'm a dog lover and have 2 just now and have had dogs all my life. They break your heart but we can only give them a good life and love them to bits.
