What a great first image to post on the site. This composition is just brilliant with the perspective of the wall trailing off into the distance. The capture of the subtle hues of the land is magnificent. And that sky! Wow, some wonderful work David. Looking forward to seeing other masterpieces from you.

Oh man, gimme a week of that peace and solitude and I'd be a new person. Looks as if you and Dana found a small piece of paradise out there. And you both returned home for what reason? If I ever win the lottery, be assured I'm going to find you, have you take me back there and we will open a bar. Deal?

Great photograph. Compliments as always to you and Dana for your great work.

I do not like green eggs and ham
I do not like them Sam I Am....

Oops, sorry. The photo is marvellous Alisa. The red and brown hues really form shapes and patterns I get lost in. The small shadows are great and give the sense of three-dimensionality. Your eye for picking this stuff up is remarkable. Just wonderful work.

Hey there. Are you back from your trip? If so, I hope it was good one. This image makes a great calling card of your return. Those colors in the sky are just brilliant. I love the framing of the water created by the silhouettes of the trees in the foreground and the mountains in the distance. Excellent image.

Just great work Heather. The exposure is excellent with the shadow detail. Beautiful sharpness in the gentleman on stage and wonderful color. A very powerful shot indeed.

This is really beautifully done Verna. The lighting and the close crop make this one a real killer in my eyes. It reminds me of those extraordinary Hollywood portraits Edward Steichen did in the 1930s. Great work.

Nice capture Chelsea. Very nice exposure with just lovely detail of the birds' plumage. Man, they're givin' me an appetite.

Bob, the decision to get some of the petals into the image was great. The lines of the petals all draw the eye right into that outstanding center. Its just beautiful with wonderfully soft tones and color. Well done.

Man, is that ever a sexy image. The pose is wonderfully alluring and the lighting is, once again, perfect. The tonal range is also excellent. You did a great job getting separation of her hair from the background. Excellent job yet again.

The soft focus is really nicely done here Verna. The pose is relaxed and natural, while the lighting is dead perfect. Another nice one.

Oh man, Alisa! What a shot. Simple and direct, but with wonderful depth. The stairs really seem to protrude from the screen at me! The exposure couldn't be better with just wonderful tones and lovely textures. This has to make for a magnificent print. Eric's right, talk to him! If its done right, this will be even more stunning in print than on here. Congrats, Alisa. Its just great.

Very nicely done Karen. I'm not usually a big fan of selective coloring of B&W images but this worked out so well. The pose of the model is absolutely great.

Ah, one of my personal favorites in the V. Bice portfolio (which of course will now be added to my favorites here). This is such a lovely image. The vignetting is masterful and the tones of her face are beyond description. Based on what you said, I'd imagine this image would slaughter the competition in a contest. Wonderful work. Great to see it again.

I like the subtle tones of this a lot. I wish there was just a tiny bit more separation between the center of the flower and petal that sticks up above it, just to the left of center. Still, very nice work.

Nicely done Renee. Its looks like an old wreck that never got hauled away. I guess the sense of abandonment is only enhanced by the fact that its on its side. You might want to go back and work the scene some with some different angles and close ups. I bet you'll find a few more compelling images. I like the decision to go B&W here.

Man the Easter Bunny is sure looking strange these days. I love the shot Sarah. This is the kind of image that keeps me giggling for hours. That dog's face is so wonderful. Good job catching this one.

Very nice detail Kathleen. I like the way the trunk of the tree draws my eye right up through the image. Nice tonality as well. Good job.

I most definitely agree with Aiman. This is such a nice image. I think the element of the story telling is far stronger here. The face of that old gentleman is a story unto itself. Wonderful work.

I like the composition a lot but wish there was less PS manipulation here. I like what you were going for Asis but I think that what you lose is some very important detail, particularly on the old gentleman's face. That face looks like its so expressive, lets see it unadulterated. Can you post a version of this without the PS filtering so we can compare?

Alisa, just wonderful work. I agree with Lisa that composition is great for including the legs. I actually don't see that much of a problem with the line of the wall given its conformity with general line of the legs. The lighting is just great, couldn't be better, with excellent tonality. Great work.

Karen this is just phenomenal work. An extremely creative image on your part. What you did with the background is just excellent, creative a sensual, dreamy and really gorgeous image. The graininess again only enhances the "dreamstate" of the picture. I'm not sure if it isn't my monitor, but only (very humble) suggestion would be slight burning in of the highlights on her left leg which seem a tiny bit too hot. Take that for whats its worth though...not much. Excellent work.

Excellent use of the picture frame in the composition Verna. The lighting is just awesome. You're really bowling me over with these shots with this model. They are real knockouts.

Not bad at all Will. The lighting seems nice on her face and I do like pose because you get a sense of her whole body in the shot. A very striking model indeed. My own humble suggestion might be a slight levels adjustment to get slightly better separation of Cristin's clothes from the dark greens in the background. Very nice work though.

Wonderful colors Aiman. The composition is great with really nice balance. The detail in the foreground rock is wonderful. Such an extraordinary landscape. I keep crossing my fingers and hoping I'll get a chance to see it myself one day.

Just a beautiful image. Conveys intense emotion and feeling. I'm not sure I'd add any more contrast myself. I imagine this looks absolutely gorgeous as a print. Wonderful work and Happy Passover to you.

No question but that is this a great image. Your son's expression is priceless. I think the grain combined with the lighting make for a great atmosphere for the image. Excellent work Shelby. Looking forward to seeing more from you.

Just a beautiful image Aiman. The colors and composition are so nice. I think the placement of the woman is just perfect and you did a great job catching her with a wonderful facial expression. Compositionally, it has the feel of a 17th century Dutch painting. Its just great.
