Interesting how snow frosting does more than improve landscape images. Here it has complemented a tele wildlife image as well. A great expression on the owl, wishing he were somewhere else.

We have these as noisy residents in the city, though local colors are less blue, even in males. My impression is that they are a lot more common than I remember in the past. Certainly the robins and sparrows disappeared when we started to hear the Merlins each morning. Great eyes.
