Thank you Eric for your suggestion I appreciate your feedback. I actually shot this intentionally with more space at the top. The course I'm taking is for commercial photography and the idea was if someone is using it for an ad, could add text in the empty space without the text covering up her.
But your suggestion is good too for the regular portrait

Very nice pose and lighting. There's a bit too much empty space above her head though. It make the picture feel bottom heavy. I'd suggest cropping about half of that off so that the distance from the the top of her head to the top border is about equal to the distance from the left side of her face to the left border. Attached is a sample crop.
