It was about a different shark species, great white! In my portfolio you can also find a photo of it labelled Jaws. I was in a cage of course ;)

These animals are extremely docile and even though they have teeth, they are so tiny, you can hardly see them. Funny enough, researchers are still unsure of what purpose whale shark teeth could possibly serve :-)

Nice action shot of this colossal shark. It is hard to believe you could get this close and live to tell about it. Applause!!!!!!

They suction water into their mouths at high velocities while remaining stationary. Food moves through filtering pads that cover the entrance of their throats. The filtering pads are broad mess pads full of millimeter-wide pores that act like a sieve, allowing water to pass through while capturing food particles.

It is called passive feeding; they filter the water and eat the krills ;-)

too bad the DOF isn't a bit sharper to bring out more detail, but with a fast moving Titan Trigger, I would be backing away real fast!!! such big bad teeth.

Too lovely indeed. I just love the title of this, and the bleary silhouette of the second sea turtle really enhances that effect. Just gorgeous. How I adore swimming with the sea turtles. Very sweet creatures indeed. Cheers,

Beautiful!! I have swum with a number of different sharks, but not with a white shark (that I was aware of). Largest I have encountered would be a couple tiger sharks. Fabulous capture- very peaceful-looking indeed. Cheers,

Lovely image of a very interesting fish. I love the overall 'summery' feeling to this. It is like a little warmth in this extremely cold weather we are having right now.
