I love this composition with the flower peddles. And the added element of the dew is nice.

This is a really nice photo and very creative, I would have never though to taking a picture of the flowers by this angle.

Nice capture and having the lady in the shot provides the viewer a little perspective. Nice Vivid shot.

It looks like you have haze in the photo, did you take this in the middle of the day. If so try early in the morning or at later in the afternoon before sunset. Just a thought. I would bring a little of the saturation up 5 points.

What happen to your photo Carolyn.. It is very pixelized.. It looks like your enlarged a small section of the photo without interpolating it, true?

I love lighthouses, I think they are the coolest. I think your composition is just superb, but I question how dark the blue sky is at the top of the photo, is this photo unaltered? If not wow.

Interesting Haloing around the top of the trees? Was this caused by post-processing? I like the shot otherwise it is a nice angle throught the frame.

Nice Action Shot!

1.) Did you play with the levels a bit, just a little flat..
2.) Keep an eye on distractions in the background, open it up a little to blur the background more. People, sign and flowers distract from the initial subject.
3.) Play with shutter speed a little to see if you can get the ball to have a little motion, but this is just another alternative as your stop motion is just fine.

Again all determined by what your goal in the shot is.

Nice shot Eric with the 4-5.6 Lense! Does your lense have a lock focus button on the end of it? That will help in "C" mode if you use it. As well you can se the AE/AF button to be the focus button only. Each setting can help with specific shots. I found having the AE/AF button my focus button great for action shots, focus auto once, leave it and only hit it when I needed it..

Slighty overexposed from what I can tell, hugh contrast from head and waterfall. Nice capture and emotion thought A+.

A Macro Lens would have help here, as well maybe try a different angle. It is a little fuzzy on the edges, maybe play with unsharpen, and noise reduction to give a little improvement.

Martin,

This is great feedback and I greatly appreciate it. I was not using AutoFocus at the time, but they were flying everwhere and don't sit for long. Your advice will be helpful for my next visit.

Thank you

Thank your kinds works, and it is a nice surprise. I agree having a riverboat within the frame would have made it pop that much more!
