I stand corrected. I used CS4. If you bring the images into Photoshop as if to make a panorama, Photoshop will align and scale the layers to match. You can then manually select the portion of each layer that is in focus. This is a very tedious task.

Thanks for your interest Guido. This is about 16 photos. The most difficult thing that the stacker software does is to resize each image to compensate for the change in focus. That is why I would not try this in Photoshop.

Thanks Brigitte. A mist of water is sprayed on a glass treated with water repellent (Rain-x). One foot behind the glass is an abstract high contrast negative print of a stack of pipes.
