Hi Doyle!

Wow property in Lawndale must have really gone up with beach front property now. I think this might be up in Palos Verdes somewhere.

Great photo. Love the silhouette of the fisherman. Just thought I would stop by the old usefilm and see what some of my old friends were up to.

Hope all is well with you!

Hi Doyle,

I'm honored that you remembered me and sent me a message. I deleted my profile sometime ago. Whoa is me! I posted some of my pics on Pauls Photo website (Torrance). I'm still into photography. This weekend I was asked to take photos by a family friend of their daughters Homecoming game (she is a Cheerleader and the Captain of the team). I was also at the family home on Saturday to take photos of her two daugthers, their dates and all the other students who attended the homecoming dance that were at the home. In the process of getting the photos ready and making a DVD slide show. From that night, I also job an offer to do some photos of a Baptism. Still not charging anyone, but both of them are insisting on paying me for my time.

I've been stressed out a bit. Might lose my job soon. I have an interview tomorrow for another position in the company. Wish me luck! If I don't get a position before my job is moved to Irvine I will be out of a job or will have to make a drive to Irvine to keep the one that I have.

Glad to see that you remembered me. I've looked around for you when there is a photo opp in the area.

Maybe I'll post a shot from the ones I took this weekend.

Thanks for thinking of me. Best to you and your family!

I'm sure the day of the lion will come soon.

By the way, in case you don't know already, this weekend in San Pedro is Old Fort MacArthur Days. I'm sure there will be many picture opps there.

I'm surprised that this one was in the vault for so long.

With the background and colors it almost appears as if this baby giraffe was in a studio posing for this shot.

Excellent detail captured.

What a great Father's Day gift to have your son back home again - safe & sound!

I hope all parents will be able to share in the same joy that you have - very soon.

The place in the photo that he is in Afghanistan looks so beautiful compared to what we usually see on the news.

May God bless and take care of our men and women still in the region.

Happy Father's Day!

Wonderful colors of the birds feathers and the varying shades of each one. The red in the beak and the shape really draws my eyes into the photo and towards the heads of the birds. Love the look of the ripples in the water.

Adorable! Excellent B & W with great lighting.

Love the tears, but I hate to see a child with tears in their eyes.

I've never seen a Hummingbird at rest - I didn't actual know they do that.

I figured those wings never stopped even at rest.

To bad he wasn't faving forward for this one. Regardless, a rare site indeed.

It's amazing that these birds have such a long life span. They are beautiful to look at with the colors of their feathers. I'm sure they are also hard to part with when they are sold.

Beautiful colors, excellent focus and the DOF - perfect!

The Ibex looks superb here in the image. I'm not so sure about the eyes though. On my monitor the eyes appear to be quite bright in color (redish-orange) and look as they have been altered in some way.

I like the adjustments you have made to the background the Ibex really does stand out.

Excellent light and shadows. I like how the East & West Mitten Buttes are lite up and the shadow being cast at the base of the mitten on the right.

I do see a speck of white, which I'm not sure if that is what Bill is referring to as the "dead pixel", the the butte on the left has quite a few of these white specks which I think might just be the light reflecting off of the rock at the base of the butte.

The color of the blue sky looks amazing.

I'd have to say I prefer the color version over the B & W.

I think the Himalayan Ibex stands out more in the color version.

I too would be interested in knowing how many images were stitched together to create this one.

Excellent work!

I think Doyle has been sitting in "That 70's Show" basement in his spare time. LOL!

The glowing edges look great in his hawk shot. It almost looks like you left the eye the natural way that it would appear in an untouched image. If so, I like it. Either way it is different.

I do like Doyle's image with the moon added to the image. The moon fills up the dark space and gives the image a bit more balance.

Gorgeous roses! Haven't seen anything posted from you lately, I'm sure you have been busy with your other hobbies.

California has had a few days of high temps and I'm not looking forward to the hotter temps this summer.
