I felt honored to have my image critically appreciated by you. I took a look at your portfolio and it was really interesting too. Thank you very much for your support and comment.
As far as the above image is concerned, I also thought to make it B&W, but later changed my mind and wanted to experiment if the same strength is conveyed through a colored version or not.
As far as the art is concerned, I deeply believe that when an work of art is displayed for the world at large, the artist must be humble enough to accept criticism, whether he likes it or not. That neutral approach is really enriching and works as an eye opener to venture out newer pastures. What do you feel about this ?

Under what circumstances you believed that I was pulling your leg ?? Even if it is true, then for what motive ? where and what is my gain ? And what made you believe that I would surely clap if this would have been posted by a white photographer ??
If you kindly review my comment, carefully, and without being personally hurt, you will surely see 3 questions along with my very personal feelings about ethical photography.
When you are posting your work on a forum like this, expect to receive critical comments too.
My intention was to make this same shot more interesting, but if you believe the opposite.. its your choice after all.

Photographers should be very very aware of what to show and how much to show and the photographs must not infringe human dignity and age old cultures and traditions.
Is the frontal nudity of the monk essential in this shot ?? couldn't you find a better POV to convey the same message ?? Are you aware about the historical origin of the Naga sect ??

I am delighted to find at least one photographer from Kolkata sees something different than what others simply miss out.
It is just horrible to see same kinds of pictures, shot either at Gangasagar or at a stopover camp for the same at Kolkata.

Left part of the image lost its detail due to underexposure .. what kind of metering you used ?? could this be rectified in post production ?? just a thought ..
