Wow Ameed I can't believe that I missed this one.
Love the cascading water and the slow shutter speed works great here.
The fist level almost looks as if it were stopped by a fast shutter speed and then the lower ones all having that killer mist look.
Ameed I'm leaving uf and want to wish you and yours the very best.
I will miss viewing your inspiring images.
God Bless
Lee

Just breath taking Lori....
Wonderful colors with a fantastic composition, and Lori your eye for framing is very good, when I frame a picture I have taken I let the lady at the frame shop help me...

Lori today is my last day here on uf and wanted to tell you that I have really learned allot from you and other uf members.
I have learned everything from composition, to framing skills to online etiquette.
I know that you and I never passed tons of comments back and forth but I would like to believe that the ones we did were sincere.
If out paths never cross again then I will wish you all the best now.

A beautiful shot, and super dedication on the perfect day.
Dave thank you for all your support, I'm leaving uf as of tonight and will miss many people here that have in many ways grown deep in my heart.
If we never meet again sir, I wish you and yours the very best.

Killer shot Dan !
Very precise timing.
I had to save this to my hard drive and zoom it to 200% to see the wire, now that I know where it is I can see it.
You have also captured the gas coming out of the bulb.
Great capture Dan.

This is a very good shot and a very nice for Yamil, I'm sure this put a smile on his face.
Thank you for the about....very interesting...I most likely would have been scared to even pick it up.
Steve thank you for the recent Staff Choice, never made the front page so it didn't get any extra attention buy that is ok, just having a shot recognized by you was very nice.
I'm leaving uf after this weekend and this award did mean allot to me.
Wishing you the very best.

Really a beautiful shot Lori
The water is so clear and the beach appears so smooth, I bet you could watch the fish swim around, the water is so clear.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful image.

The way you have the background gives off this almost starburst feeling, it works well here Pat.
I'm wondering though......I kind of think that the flower being extended away from the body pulls me away from the subject. I do like the flower in the shot though.
Thinking on this flower gives me a idea, I have seen these cheap little and very colorful umbrellas at the hobby stores, I think it could make a excellent prop here....lol now I'm thinking there are allot of good children props that could work good with out taking away from the subject.
A great shot Pat...really got me thinking ...this is good.

Wow Bobby you have some large pets.....I bet your feeding bill is big $$$$$$$$$$$$$
Nice choice in f stops....allows the entire shot to be in focus.
Great subjects and well done.

Good morning Pat.
What a excellent portrait of a Bald Eagle.
The back lighting worked very well here creating shadows in the right places and very sharp image.
My Complements Pat.
What happen to the Canon 20D ?

You asked about the Nikon D200 and weather I know anything about it ......I know it is allot less money then my D2X and does much of the same with only a little drop in megapixel, 10 verse 12.
A main reason I bought the D2x was that I wanted more shooting speed so I would capture some shots that I used to stand there and wait for my camera to catch up.
I would have most likely bought the D200 at almost a 1/3 of the price had it been out when I bought my D2x. Please don't get me wrong, I love my D2x......but I'm not a rich person, I have to work allot of extra to pay for my toys and saving 3 thousand dollars would have been nice.
If I can be of any help please just ask.

As I looked at the thumbnail I thought this looks like a painting....
I like the affects you have used here and it does resemble a painting.
Full of shades and colors...very nice Gregory

What beautiful colors Rodney and a full valley of them at that.
I don't think the haze really takes away here, more like it allows the up front colors to be more pronounced.
Welcome back
Kind Regards

This works very well Pat.
The soft light on one side with a bit more on the other gives a nice feel.
I like the white background and floor.
Good technique
Pat if you would like to go back to my moose shot I added a how I got the shot in the comments.

Very nice, crisp and very good colors.
I shot several shots last week of one at 6 feet, but I was hand holding the 400 and didn't even come close to this quality.

Love the lighting and the pose.
Just a wonderful shot.
Sorry for the lack of comments lately I've been really busy, over the next few days I'm going to be uploading several shots without much time to comment. I apologize now for this.
It all has a reason that will soon be expressed as well.

Whoohoo already out getting flight action shots....watch out Marcus !
A tough bird to capture as the black and white of the bird make it hard to find the correct exposure.
You did a great job.
