the wavy line is made by the creatures living around us... thats the purpose of making the line. the image is not manipulated in any way and it is just made by a flashlight and 30sec exposure time. even the colours came out like they are except for a slight decrease in saturation.

really interesting! i like the scratches on the picture giving it a feel of ageing. makes it feel old and maybe a bit scary. the lightening is interesting. it is made up of several pictures, right? well, it doesn't really matter as the final product that matter... as i said so damned many times on these pages, i love poetic pictures giving food for the mind. I LIKE IT!

beautiful contrasts. dramatic! to make it perfect in my point of view, i would have more contrast on the water to avoid the top heavy feeling. a nice thing to do in the darkroom. look foreward 2 c more of your pics!

Thanks for the comments both of you. The double shadow of the flower is a part of the story. One flower throwing two shadows. The person has just been separated by his former girlfriend. There are two people holding each other on the picture in contrast to the one person sitting by the table all alone. The two cups reflects the fact that the the other person just left. There are a ring on the table. Someone broke up. Thats the story.......

This is just like seeing a cover on an ECM production. (ECM is a record label (just to sort things out if necessary...)). Great quiet and beautiful picture of nature. I am glad to see such likeable picture of nature. It brings a new dimention to it. Nature can be artistic if done in such a way. Great!

Must be something for the ECM record label. Great feel and brings out a real dramatic and a quiet feel (at the same time). Nice!
