I enjoy your idea about distraction, it is something I will give some thought to. Your intention for the photo comes off very well, at least to me.

I really like the composition of this...but the chair in the foreground is distracting to me...softer, more indirect lighting (I'm guessing you used flash only) and possibly a bigger aperture would probably make the chair less of an entity...just my humble opinion. I really like the way you composed it...surrounded by your past...maybe a bit suffocated by it...but I am probably reading too much into it

I need a toycam like that one...really like the look of these two...the toning really sets it off...nice.

Actually Brad, it did stink...and the really crappy part of that...after I brought it in and shot it...I made the mistake of breaking everything down (and giving the hoof back to the dog)before I pulled the images onto my comp. Due to a memory card glitch, only two images were readable, so I had to go chase the dog back down, wrestle the thing away from her, set everything back up, and stink up the room again. It was one of those days.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

I imagine this was much how Elvis saw it...during his pill days at least. I personally love the color.

Really dig this one, the negative space gives that extra oomph of unsettling feel.

Can't believe this hasn't received more reaction....great toning, composition, everything...seems to have some digitalization, dunno if that is the compression or my browser or both...anyway...great portrait.

Love the turn your latest posts have taken, the grain, the grittiness....great depth of imagery here. Awesome. Did you do it all in the darkroom?

You didn't get any comments on it, but I really like this portrait, it is a very strong image, among many impressive images. I have to say I am most envious of your use of color in all your work.

Coming from the creator of this deep, beautiful work, I will take all your criticisms very seriously. As of now, I am going out to purchase some underwear to scan, so I too can make great art that comments so well on the depth of the average man. I am glad to see you carrying on in the tradition of the great masters of your ancestry. Bellisimo.

I'll send it but I don't like it much...I had taken a pain pill when I made it...and well...it looked better to me then...hee...I always feel bad deleting stuff people have posted comments on...but sometimes I just don't like 'em...so I apologize formally as of now :P

I like the image..very bizarre..the idea deserves more work on blending the legs...the joint is still a bit obvious....otherwise...very nice.
