Yup... You're right on. the was taken at the pullout. And I was there in Sept of 2002. (That is also when this shot was taken. I was living in CO at the time. Now this is SOOOO far away I'm afraid it will be a while before I get back.

Lovely color as usual. I'm finding it a bit heavy on the right. I think the foreground tree gets a little bit lost in the mountain behind. Lots of good elements here to work with. Well done.

I've spent far too much time in these rooms to ever find this pleasant but then I suppose that is the whole point. Maybe they should issue markers or paints to all who wait so that they can redecorate to relieve the stress.

This one is A LOT better when viewing the large photo. Therein lies my main complaint with the site. There are too many good photos. I wish I had the time to view them all in the large format. Well seen Leslie.

The painted wall is almst cartoon like. I keep expecting a big Monty Python foot coming down or something like that. Again, that tongue and cheek nature of your work comes through nicely.

Still a favorite of mine... The bit of plant material up front really sets this one off for me. Interesting thing for me is that having stood on this spot I realize that I never would have seen this photo. Great work.

This is a classic scene. Photographed many times but it still works. If you look at other photos of this location you might find what you are looking for. I haven't seen enough to really know. I, personally, love the pastels rendered here. Getting the shot whith a more active ocean might add something. Maybe even with a really long exposure. Just some thoughts. I really do like it as is.

Ah nostalgia... But this particular series never was amongy my favorites of yours. It is, as would be expected, technically excellent. It just doesn't say much more than flower to me. Alas my efforts at similar work yeild only the most direct renditions. Maybe it is time for another try as I've been out of the game for a while.
