Fabulous photo! I love Orangutans and think you've captured him perfectly. Excellent clarity, lighting, and DoF.

Oh yay, someone else who uses the word 'graininess'! I always wondered if its actually a word or if I just use it, lol.
Interesting shot, I'm wondering if perhaps you could have brightened the front few headstones to make them 'pop' a little more? (just my opinion)

Nicely done. I've never thought ol' Colonial Stadium (aka Telstra Dome) was a very good looking place but you've made it seem much nicer!

Perfect lighting Jason, & excellent bg. I agree with the others, if it were me I wouldn't have cropped the edge of the dress and woulda corrected the tilt, but thats just me.

Simple and fabulous :)
Wish I could get my kitten to sit that still but alas it seems he enjoys licking the camera more than any toy or food I can offer!

I have a bizarre fear of boats.
Way to reinstate that fear Dave!

Lol! Fabulous composition, it worked amazingly well.

Wow Nick! I've looked through your pictures and have to say, after reading you 'about me', I dont see any signs of runny eggs or burnt toast in here!
You're photographs are fabulous, I'll be sure to check back.

Very dramatic, I love this one. From the thumbnail it looked like a nuclear explosion, for a moment I was worried!

Very nice. Excellent horizon. I have to ask, did you send them walking down there or were you just in the right place at the right time?

You know...I heard that shoes over the power lines are like a marker for drug dealers. I dunno how true it is but I've heard it a few times! Like, this could be outside a dealers house or a meeting point...

Nice crop and great colors, but its a shame that its slightly blurred... I think there will be a great improvement in your shots when you get a tripod, it makes things so much easier!

Is the problem that there was no tripod, or was the poppy moving slightly in the breeze? Perhaps a combination fo the two...
Apart from the blur it is a great image, the colors are wonderful and the composition works well.

Cheers,
-D.

Huh...You know, I dodge these things every day on my way to work, and see flattened ones on the side of the road all the time, but I dont think (up untill now) that I've ever seen a skull!
