Excellent! I love the transition from sea to wet beach with dry beach to the right. Great lighting as well. The image puts me in a tranquil place.

Thank you all for the feedback. George, you should have seen me the other day during an unexpected story. I had my jacket off, surrounding the tripod. I looked like an old time photographer. Christian, any ideas exposurewise on how to get the museum and arches exposed correctly together? Or is that an impossible task?

I like the concept. My biggest problem is the image feels washed out. It looks like you have very harsh sunlight on the image. For me that dampens the overall effect. But in your goal to highlight shapes and figures you have done a great job.

Excellent! Amazing color, and I like the composition with the river S-curving through the image. Well seen.

What a fun picture! I like that you managed to capture everything when the traffic was stopped as well. I love the colors.

How could the comp be stronger? Different elements? Closer shot? Different light? Inquiring minds want to know.

Polorizing filter for one might help. What's bothering you about the trees? Lack of detail? For me, they aren't really a significant component other than the fact they help frame the snow and provide good contrast. I like the details on the ridges. It also might be worth going back to shoot at a different time of day.

Megan, I don't honestly know why you were concerned with your ability to take architecture images. If your cityscapes are any indicator- you will do a brilliant job. I like the dichotomy of the older domed building on the left and the modern office complex on the right. Great shooting.

Incredible. I love the water. It's almost a totally smooth surface. Great tones on the image. I'm seeing what looks like streaking left side, below the first light. I'm not sure if that is in the image, or artifact from the scan. Hopefully the latter. I love the sharpness on the lights. Great work.

Where in the Garden is he climbing? I like the detail in the image. It's making me homesick for the Springs. Great work.

I like the angle, but the hard lighting washes the color out of the soldier's face almost causing him to blend into the building. I'd suggest using a polorizing filter when shooting in bright light. It may help a bit. Keep shooting!

Nice shot! It looks like it might need about 1-1.5 degrees of rotation right, my eye tells me it's off plumb. I'd also try cloning/cropping out the cloud. In this particular image I find it a distracting element. Again, nice shot.

I almost didn't look at this one. The thumbnail just wasn't interesting. I'm glad I did! I really like the mist over the left side of the log. Nice texture and light reflection as well.

I'm having difficulty with DOF and the overall focus of the image. My eye wants to focus on the men at the end of the path, but the sharpest part of the image is the path itself. I just don't find the effect appealing. I'm not sure if you wanted the men to be slightly blurred though. I like the composition.

It may have been a physically bad day, but it gave you a very nice shot. The mist lends great atmosphere, and I like the people out on the wall.

Cool capture. I think a polorizing filter would probably have helped pop the sky out a bit more and increase the contrast between lion and sky.
