I have always liked color gels at night. I recently did a final project with this gels.

One thing I learned is these type of shots can become redundant. Looking back at some of my past work they all seem to blend together.
What I created was a colorful background, like a theatrical backdrop. There is no action, just a still image.
My recent work I tried to employ people moving through the frame, or throwing things into the frame and hitting them with a flash to freeze the movement.
