Very nice concept, Caecilia. Well composed, too. Watch out for the lost details on the ship's ropes because of the highlight. Very nice effort, my friend, congrats

I understand what you mean by "ordinary", but I think it's no a matter of ordinary or extraordinary picture. I think what really matters is that this picture and her annoyed expression have a deep memory for you, and I thank you for sharing it to us...

Hi caecilia,
This is a nice image. I love the clouds pattern. I suggest strong color for this... or maybe sepia will do good as well! keep it up you're doing really really nice!

Nice experiment, Caecilia, but be careful in tilting the frame (especially the horizon), because it could give the viewer unrest feeling. Just my tips, I hope you won't mind..

thanks bang.. bang luhut was teaching me how to take unique angle, somehow my A1 turned dark after we locked focusing, so repositioning was a bit tricky. anyhow i found out what's wrong and learn more about the camera.

Very nice angle and composition, Caecilia..
Pity for the high contrast that you lost the man's face. I think bimacakti was right, you can use the spot meter feature and meter for the face, and might want to lower the exposure 1 stop to reduce the highlight effect. Here I attached the version of mine, which I have dodged his face a little, and lower the dark tones using curve in PS to get the higher contrast and details. I hope you don't mind...
