I love it when a photo generates such different opinions. Thanks for commenting. I thought about cutting the bottom but one of the weird effects of the photo is seeing how the guys are sitting wearily 7 meters above the floor.

I agree, too centered for me, but I like the diagonal line of the horizon driving you to her face.

Your photos great! I love this one, I think it's really difficult to make this simple portraits as interesting as this one is. Beautiful textures and pitch black background.

No, I only adjusted levels and contrast. The horizon had that beautiful colour contrasting with the blueish atmosphere of a cloudy day and the clouds are as they were.

Perfect composition and beautiful colours although maybe the red a bit oversaturated. Good work.

I liked the bussy enviroment that contains the subject and that's why I didn't even think about cropping the graffitis or the door to the back of the woman. However I've been testing tighter croppings and they do work and help focusing better on the subject.

By the way, I didn't see the reflection until the 8th time I watched the picture....really amazed by your observation skills! I thought nobody would notice...I'd better change the title to "Self portrait in green"!

I include a copy with alternative cropping, what do u think?

Beautiful colour and texture (as in all your portfolio) and simple yet captivating composition.

It is so frightening to imagine what those iron gates or that redish soil have witnessed. So terrifying to think what crossing through that gate or reading those words ment for people not so long ago. The yellow light sets the mood perfectly and the square cropping makes the pic more dramatic.

The merit is Stockholm's for being such an amazing city.

Yes, it's a sunset but the special kind you can see all over scandinavia on summer. Up north the sun never sets and the entire night is a beautiful afternoon. Thanks for your comment.

Thank's for your comments! And yes, the light source is exclusively the window covered in part by blind. This is one of the first photos I ever took!! Beginner's luck I suppose...

The spots are not dust, they are swirls of water that cast tiny shadows (and also stains in the sink) but not in the print (the image is digital). However I'm with you, they distract and should have been removed. Thanks for your comment.

The statue on the foreground is the one that casts the shadow. And yes, I agree with you that the photo would have been better with more of the statue in the frame but with the 50mm lens I had at the moment this was te best composition I could think of.
Thanks for your comment.

Beautiful portrait and beautiful model. The only thing I "like less" is maybe, in my opinion, a slightly blueish colour cast (more evident in her hair) due probably to the cold light shed by a window near the girl.

Though I generally find flower photos rather boring I have to say your is beautiful and original. I love the colours and the soft focus of some parts(that is original for example, most of the flowers I've seen are thoroughly focused and seem less natural than yours). I agree, however, with the other comments; that green blur in the corner distracts a little.

Thanks for your correction. I wasn't sure of the name in English and was too lazy to look it up in an Atlas. Finally I've titled the photo with the spanish name (Brujaswithches!)
