Toni, I'm really glad you liked this image. And thanks for the comment on "Her Wrath," as well.

I am grateful for your honesty and for you taking time to look at my images. Apology accepted, no harm done!

Very dramatic use of the light Sarah. I like that you were able to get light to the far eye. Great catchlights. Again, very full of emotion.

Toni, I meant no disrespect to you or your opinion of my image. As you can see in my comment back to you, I said I knew it was grainy and soft. I'm not denying that fact. It was a low light situation, I used available light, and it was underexposed. I worked with it in PS because I like the pup's expression and his sweet eyes. This image shows off his personality and sweetness. No, it's not a technically perfect photo. Maybe not even a good one in some's opinion. As you so eloquently stated, "to each his own." That's the beauty of the art of photography. We don't all have to like the same thing. I'm sorry you don't like it. But it doesn't take away the meaning and the feeling I get when I look at it. I happen to like it in black & white too. I post what I like. This particular image was a gift for my brother, it's his puppy. And he loved it.

I'm not sure why you felt you needed to lash out at me over my picture. Sorry if I offended you in any way with my comment.

Thanks for your comment on my picture "Traces of Time."

Wow! How on earth did you light this? The light is so controlled. Is it studio lights or natural?? Love this so mugh. I have a newborn shoot coming up, would love to know how you got such great lighting!

You have such a beautiful smile, and those eyes. What a unique opportunity you have to be able to document what you're going through. I like your smile here. Although you're in a difficult situation, I see strength in your eyes.

Very cute pose with the hat. But again, I wish I could see her eyes. It's a great series of shots though. I could see them in a magazine.
