The layers in the landscape definitely make it worth it. The scene looks great in subdued tones. This is a beautiful view you've found, the name's welsh (i think) but whereabouts is it?

The shot is been cropped to be a panaromic and is actually 60CM long, and 30CM high approx. But you don't really get the effect on USEFILM

Such a lovely little lady! Given that you coudn't blur the background (it's too close) to isolate her, why don't use a smaller aperture? Since you shot at 1/4000 you had room for quite a bit of stopping down. The 17-40 is a great lens, even wide open, but it's sharper at smaller apertures, as any lens. Just my two cents! (or better shillings!)

Thanks for you kind comment, lighting was really good today so provided some great lighting, I agree with you on the fingers, sloppy of me, I will try a different crop on this shot to correct it.
