Nice effect. Good combination of textures, patterns, and slight color in otherwise monochrome image. Very well done.

Interesting textures and colors. A tighter crop eliminating the barrel on the right would be another option with more attention placed upon the cactus and wall.

Excellent composition by using a small segment of the ship's mast/sail and good sharpness. Congratulations.

Good capture of the sun's rays at sunset. Often when a view of this type is seen, a camera is not available.

Very sharp, clear image with good use of depth of field. New Mexico is a beautiful state with great views in the desert and mountain regions. I am a great fan of desert photography and will be looking forward to seeing more of your New Mexico pictures in the future.

Beautiful view and great textures. Definitely a 7. From a technical standpoint, I would be interested in learning how you obtained such a perfect exposure since you were dealing with the dark archway and brighter church. Did you take some type of combination exposure reading? Was there some post processing to increase/decrease the brightness of some areas? This was a difficult lighting condition and you achieved great results. Very nice photograph.

I enjoy night pictures of trains. They often generate a feeling of mystery -- raising questions as to where is the train from, where is it going, who is riding in it. The trailing darkness of this picture adds to the mystery. This is an interesting photograph to view and ponder.

Beautiful color and good DOF. I also like the composition with the plant sweeping in slightly from the right side rather than centered. Very nice photograph.

I like the varied combinations of textures and colors in this photograph -- foreground rock and riverbed, green plant life and distant mountains and sky. Very interesting view.

I noticed that this photograph had no comments, but I like this picture. It is an interesting scene with good colors from the rocks and plants and the background sky and clouds is dramatic. Getting the correct exposure for the forground subject and maintaining good exposure for sky and clouds is not always simple. This is a very nice nature/landscape view.

Beautiful colors and composition. All elements of this photograph seem to compliment each other, the building, the trees, the fence and the coloring. Congratulations on a beautiful and unique picture.

Very unique photograph with interesting texture. Ron, I enjoy seeing your pictures taken with the Canon A-1. I recently replaced the light seals in my Canon A-1 and Canon FTB. The light seals successfully corrected a light streak problem with my A-1 and I am eager to begin using it again. It is a great camera as can be seen in your portfolio.

This horizontal cropping of the 'Desert Tree' seems better. Effective use of dark shawdow under the large boulder. This is a very stiking picture of the desert with the contrast between the lone tree and the boulders. The desert is beautiful in its vast, lonely, naturalness and you do a good job in capturing it.

I like this photograph. The boulders at the base of the tree help make this an interesting visual scene. As a side note, the area near Laramie is beautiful with the Snowy Mountain Range -- an area that I remember from some vacation trips many years ago.

In years past, I made several trips from Texas to Arizona and California on the Southern Pacific 'Sunset Limit' and other trips in the Southwest on the Santa Fe. Very nice picture that brings back memories.

I like the emotional effect of this photograph. There must be memories of this place and now it is abandoned and becoming a home for the plants. Congratulations on this very interesting and well executed photograph.
