Thanks Paul. I think that part of the reason that people haven't commented on this shot is because a lot of people have their monitors set darker and so they can't make out the details and the faces seem too shadowed. Thanks for your comment and your compliment...

The random angle that you shot this from adds to the chaotic feeling of this picture. I like it in B&W for sure. Lovin' the shot bro...

Miles Miles Miles Miles...

I looked at this shot more and I really like the fading effect from B&W to color. It is done really well and it works really good for this pic. I also really like how the center of attention is the shadows and not the actual rake or stump. This shot is really gothic and sad but that is what makes it "emo". Yahoo for emo and sprained wrists that make this comment take hours and hours to type...

First of all I think that this shot is amazing and I really do like it. I do have a question/suggestion for you. Don't you think that the shot needs a little bit less water and a little bit more sky. I think that would balance this shot out a little bit. I really like the rule of thirds and I think that it applies here. It would fit my tastes more if the city was directly in the middle third while the water took up the lower third and the sky took up the upper third of the picture. This is just a suggestion that fits my style and my tastes but I still give you my best regards and compliments for this outstanding photograph...

I think that this is my favorite shot out of your portfolio. I really like the tones and how everything is mids with a little bit of highs and a little bit of lows spread throughout. Great choice on B&W to get that mysterious feeling. If this was shot in color it would be an entirely different photo...

I really like the panoramic view on this shot Altaf. Did you use a tripod for the 1/15th shutter speed? It is really clear for such slow shutter if it was handheld...
