Beautiful beautiful shot, love the photo grain of the film, it is so soft yet crisp. I love this kind of expression, its somewhere between sure, very ambiguous but there. -Tim

I found the two women in the back ground to be so interesting that I thought this might be an interesting crop, very different from the variety which you present before, I suppose it singles them out more. -Tim

I have looked at this composition more closely one time again, and I think it is fantastic, the green signs behind them, locating them in a place. The woman seems sure of her emotion, the youngest boy most unsure, and the one in the middle questioning. I think it says something to age and reaction. -Tim

Hi Paul,
I agree completely with Karina's comment... another fill flash situation though? Just to lift her face a bit?

Hi Paul,
It's just a bit contrasty I think... would a fill flash have helped lift the witch's coat? I think it's exposed right, but the bright sky has forced a compromise in the colours in your subjects...

Hi Paul,
Fantastic colours in this, but it's just a bit blurry.. I find my eyes are kind of slipping around on the image and not quite gripped by any one aspect of it. But the colours are beautiful. Well spotted...

Cummerbund riots and toothpaste wars are scary enough, but why is that man walking around with bottles with pictures of balls on them?

Impressive shot of these restless natives who come armed and ready for action. Obviously the lookout on the left is having a difficult time spotting the enemy in such a large crowd, but I trust all went well for the battle that no doubt ensued. Well done on capturing this before they turned around and fell on you!

Veyr nice image Paul!

I love the contrast! Very rich. If it were not for the guy in white cap, your eye would have no problem going right to the woman in the fg. Great capture! The one thing I would try, crop the image just above everyone's head, and trim out all of screen left, starting at the guy with the 'RENTING' shirt. Just an idea. have a look, I hope you don't mind.

well done on a great capture!

cheers,
-Joel

Mark!

> I recognize the coat on the right !!

Well spotted!!
Yes, it is that very coat.
The one that was on the right from the beginnings of civilisation.

> Anita Pallenberg, GF of Brian Jones and Keith
> Richards.

Never heard of them. They must be foreign.

> This must be the Isle of Wight festival circa
> 1970.

Again: spot on!!!!
1970 - me oh my, was that a year.
(Don't ask me - I was hospitalized for most of it.)

> "Performance" with Sir Mick

Now that is a film I have long wanted to see.
(seriously!!)
With Edward Mouse-Hound and lots of those small English cars with no wheels that people used to drive if they were hard.

> still got the chops...

Long since transplanted.
Rubber ones are all the rage...

Yeah!

Maxime!

> he image has very nice silhouettes and effect.

Thanks!
It was all quite lucky the way it happened: the sun came out for a brief period, and I just happened to be standing there...

Yeah!

¡Alicia!

> Un excelente paisaje, donde todos los detalles

Simplemente tenía suerte que puso capturar algo de los últimos rayos del sol de ese día, lo que se presentó como un eclipse parcial porque no duraba más de 15 minutos antes de que se nublaba de nuevo...

¡Un abrazo grande!

Paul
