Sandra,

Positive and negative, black and white, space and time, sublime and mundane, all wrapped up in a simple photograph, timeless and eternal and lovely.

Warm regards, David

ps- thinking of you...

Looks like rubber ducky meets hypothermia.
One of those shots that I like, but have no idea why.
Cool (actually, cold).

Wow Paolo, this is awesome. If you could somehow get a flash shot at the same time and use the details from that to paint in the faces and other details on the 'moving' figures, the illusion would be complete.
Well seen and captured.
Warm regards, David

ps- my most recent shot (a frozen moment in time) owes credit to you as an inspiration for the toning (I'm not there yet, but I'm learning).

Very nice composition and tone. The green looks a little too saturated to me- a little unreal looking.
Excellent image overall.

Antonella,

Lovely textures and colors- it must be quite inviting to come to this place when travelling through the desert.

Yes, it has been very cold here, but not enough snow for my taste (we are supposed to get 6-12 inches starting tonight). Friday morning I'll be leaving to go camping in the mountains of New Hampshire for 3 days with some friends. That's when I'll REALLY need you to send me warm thoughts.

Hope all is well with you.

Hugs, David

Love the perspective and DOF which give a great deal of depth to this shot. The model has just the right amount pf mistery about her.
Very well done.

Thanks for your constructive comments. Here's a version with the mess in the upper right mentioned by Dave cleaned up, and John's suggestions for removal of some branches carried out- I think it's a much improved shot.

Geez Dave, you don't miss a trick. I cloned out a distracting branch in the foreground there and didn't do a very good job. Haven't made a print yet or I would have noticed the sloppiness.
Thanks for keeping me on my toes.

Paolo,
The usual lovely light and tones. Nice perspective as well. I find the two red spotches on the figures a little distracting.
Good to "see' you.
