Hi Barbara thanks for the comment on the Chicago Light house. I am interested in where these light houses are....in Michigan??
I like my photos to be on the darker side...especially portraits of people. I can see what they say but its ok to have it a little dark. The perspective of this photo really holds it together and makes you want to walk out and see the other light house. Wonderful composition.
Thanks again

Mark

It appears that the area where the cross does not have the same lighting on it like it has been manipulated....I love the tones of the stones and the clouds.

Michelle the flower image you commented on the background is a Chihuly glass sculpture and there is no PS manipulation. Thank you for your comment and I know what the problem is with the stem of the flower and I can correct it. Look forward to seeing more of your fine work.

Hello Donna....thanks for you comment you gave and I want to tell you .....you have a style that is emerging so keep up the freat work and now for a little lesson from the old has been.....have you ever tried the unsharp mask in photoshop to sharpen your photos???

go to filter, unsharp mask and then try to play around with the the controls to see if the image sharpens....I hope you don't mind but I sharpened your image here and see if you can see a difference or not or maybe you do not want to sharpen it but I just thought it might help you out. I hope you don't mind!!!! great image and wonderful tones... regards Mark.

Some of us have eyes that can see beyond what really lies if front of them and this is a perfect example. A true artist can see what others can't. I love this photograph!!! I love it just the way the artist caputured it, simple and one of the finest photos I have seen on here.
