Your cat has quite a bit of tartar buildup - especially on the back teeth. Gingivitis is obviously taking hold as well. I suggest that you make a dental cleaning appt. at your vet's office - the sooner the better. Or at the very least, try chipping off some of the offensive tartar with your thumbnail. Also, feed your cat dry food only as this will help keep its teeth clean. Canned food isn't the best idea, as its higher in price and the only major difference is that it contains much more water - unless you like paying extra for having the convenience of water placed in your cat's food. A dry diet is best for teeth, and your cat can get its water from its water dish. Lovely animal, and a great photo, too!
