A truly excellent seascape John-- and a bit unusual too with the rock/tree in the left center. I really like this, as the composition adds a lot of interesting elements for the eye to explore. Going in my Favorites.

Wonderful image. It's got a 'fantasy' feel it, what a place! I agree with Cor about the branches in the top right. I think they should stay as they're covering an otherwise featurless part of the image but if you get the chance to go back there, perhaps greater DOF would sort it out. Saying that, sharpening them slightly in PS might do the trick. Superb picture though, well done.

Sharp, clear, clever composition. The light captures the color and the shine oif the beans. Good background for the beans and the jar. (I love jelly beans. This shot is making me hungry, and there are none in the house.)

The symmetry is what's so visually attractive about this image. The foreground can be cropped further, IMO, just enough to get rid of the two logs. For some reason that I can't further define, there is kind of a gloomy color cast to the whole picture. It might be the scan. Nevertheless, it's an attractive photograph.

John; I really like this kind of "sparce" landscape-- the small, lone tree looks "vulnerable". Composition is excellent and the colors delicate. While I do agree that a darker sky might make it more "dramatic", as it's presented here is probably more realistic in color and tone, and probably like you actually saw it? It may be that "dark dramatic skies" are being overdone? IMO.
