Wow, massively funky. Kiss your stylist! I also love the silky smooth lighting, with just hints of specular on the shoulder blades and nose. Awwww, such cuteness in the model too. Wonderful, made my day.

The lighting, framing and all round beauty in this shot are wonderful.

Only problem is the plane of focus is a bit too distant, so her hair line is in focus, but her face becomes progressively OOF towards her nose and lips.

The quality of light on her skin is really great, for that very well done.

Amazing fashion image, the light is amazing and complements the model and costume beautifully. You do need to pay more attention to the texture of the road surface when cloning though, you have patches of smudged and sharp texture. Very, very nice image though.

Great lighting, I've been looking at quite a few instances of threshold lighting recently, both this way round and the rim lighting effect of a light background, dark foreground. Both can be very dynamic when used well, as you have here.

Thanks Bjorn, the really funny thing is that we tried holding the sword at different angles but this was the most convincing - it has to look like you are intending to use it, rather than just looking pretty. The other really funny thing is about the muscles, James said exactly the same thing as you "damn, I should have flexed them more". Looks like changing colourspaces has lifted the highlights slightly too far which is a shame.

Lovely lighting and flesh tones. The contrast between the beautiful young subject and the decrepit background works very well. One thing, her shoes are too big surely? Seems a funny little error.

I have not seen this image before, but I do remember the other image from the same shoot which you call sol3 in your archive, and I believe something like "Vampires everywhere" when I saw it before. This image provides an interesting variation from the close cropping of the other image, and also puts the model's (vampiric) eyes more into shade. However the pose itself is more striking here and we get to see more of the street scene, which makes her appear smaller.

The selective focus is great, adding such a lot of impact to her face.

The S shaped pose really works well with this model and in this composition. The expression is very sauve and slightly enigmatic, a mood enhanced by the lighting. Very nice.

I'm glad to have found your work again.
