Hey Mr. Boyle... haven't been around for awhile... thanks for all the great comments... I really need to catch up on my work.. I've still been shooting just not as much.. I'm updating my stuff now... but yeah I really like this shot it's a good break from the rest of your work... it's neat to see you go a different way.. it's really simple but I love the textures.. great job... but then again all your stuff is great

As an artist, Im never completely satisfied until it takes flight. Thats what keeps me at the canvas..practicing until one day, it does. Its a tiny painting(5by5) so thats the most detail I could possibly get into it. Id like to paint a larger version of one of your other birds one day though, if you dont mind?

Great macro as you got great details. I also love how the background is really blurry, as it really brings out the flower. It would be nice to have the front of the flower in focus. Great work.
