Nice lighting here, great shadow detail!

very pretty model, but here the "diffusion" is not so succesful for me. I know this is a departure for you, but her hair has turned smudgy because of the effect. To make it not so abrupt, use a graduated layer in Pshop to gently diffuse the shot.

Nice effort here, but you have lost the whole right ide of her face to shadows from her hair and lack of fill. It would help if you had soft more fill over there. Maybe some more diffusion, as the light is kind of overly-contrasted, unless that is what you are gong for. But good effort on this, nice model.

Nice shot...you really have a way with the abstracts, like a fine painter...but I like mannequins (check out my series if so inclined)

Paul, while I dig the picture, I am not sure it is the best for a card. It looks nice here, but when printed 3.5x2, it will be hard to pick out what it is immediately...the people will be very small. Print one out at that size and see what you think. Just a thought...

This is my kitty Stinky...she is a 9 year old Grand Champion Maine Coon, and yes, she is the most loving, loyal, friendly best pet I have ever had. Really smart too.

I completely agree with Terry. Nothing here suggests what you are saying about this shot. the one guy is not even looking at the lady. This is not reportage photography, it is adding to the conflict. Stoking the fire.

What kind of critique is this? "Could be better than this?" This community is not built on pointless critiques such as this. Tell you what- when you can get hired as the house photographer to an exclusive A-list Hollywood party such as this, you can post your own version of this shot.

SUPERB, but you might have shot this at faster than 1/60, because there is no blurring... maybe 1/250?
