About: As a sixth grader, I was awarded the coveted Red Ribbon of Acheivement at the Kentucky State Fair 4H photography display. Not as coveted, I admit, as the Blue Ribbon of Achievement, but certainly more prestigious than the White Ribbon of Participation.

Anyway, I drifted away from photography for a couple decades. But Fuji Reala and conservationist-environmentalist sympathies have drawn me back in. I'm trying to be a better photographer because I want to record the beauty of the countryside around me before it's levelled to build WalMarts, Starbucks and Sardinian McMansions.
