About: I took up photography 18 months ago and started with a Nikon F501 film camera. I was converted to digital by two of my work colleagues and ended up buying a Nikon coolpix 5700. After getting more serious I decided to upgrade to a Nikon D70 (while I could still afford it!) and I haven't looked back. I'm not totally, technically minded and a lot of the terms of photography baffle me. I would like to do a course some time soon. I work in a wonderful, beautiful area (Teesdale) and I'm spoilt for choice for landscape shots, which luckily are my favourite. I would like to do photography as a job when I retire (or sooner) as I get so much enjoyment from it.
