Hi Michael, I do not have a lot knowledge, but I share the little one that know with the friends. As we say in Brazil: Um grande abraço! (A big embrace!)
Excuse for my bad English..

Thanks for the kind words Alison,

The toy cow was a gift from her great grandmother in France, which Ashley keeps in a little pink backpack. My wife suggested that we send a picture to grandmama so I set up the shot and took the picture we see here. Afterwards I was told that Ashley has two toy cows in her little pick backpack and this was the WRONG COW! ***sigh***
I am still very fond of this picture. I’m surprised the only suggestion I received was for composition. I would think the greatest defect in this picture is the shadowing on her little left arm or the unattractive backdrop.

This is a beautiful shot. The colouring is excellent. In my opinion it is perfectly placed.

I believe that not, the eyes would be in the first third of the image. But that is my personal taste. :)

I'm amazed the light looks as good as it does. It was an interesting experiment with light.

Don’t you think the composition would look unbalanced if the girls eyes were higher in the frame then they are or if her eyes were further off center?

Thank you for looking at my portfolio. Tchou!

Boa luz. Na composição deslocaria um pouco para a esquerda e para baixo para não cortor o braço da menina e a pata de sua pequena amiga.
