About	Breton's Point - Ocean Drive Newport, Rhode Island 11/23/05 5:18 PM 1/40th f/5.6 ISO-100 63mm focal length A difficult scene to capture...the speed of the gulls demands a fast shutter, but the low light needs a longer exposure time. Could have bumped up to ISO-200 and removed the polarizer, but I'm trying to always shoot at 100 unless it is impossible, and I like the effect on the colors of the water and sky w/ the polarizer at this time of day.

Thanks Chris. I kind of thought the same thing, but if you imagine the photo w/o the gulls in it, I don't think it would have the same impact.

I'm impressed, that would be a hard shot to get. I really like the colors, I think the colors are more the story than the gulls
