Okay Ann, now you've captured my heart! At first I thought it was your waterfalls work, then my favorite place on earth, Bryce. But there's something about the composition of this chapel in the snow that stole my attention. Beautiful portfolio, great shot! Thanks for sharing.

I've been tending to other projects for a couple of months and am now catching up on UF comments. Thanks for your October comment on my image, "From Oxbow Bend." This is a lovely, peaceful winter scene. Great that you got the details in the shadows without too much washout of the snow. You may have seen my image of the chapel (www.usefilm.com/image/831111.html). -- Naomi

The first time I ever went to Yosemite. It was in the early 70's and I remember seeing and old villiage or town to the life of me I have never seen it again. I go there usually a couple of times a year none so far this year. This looks fine and it reminds me of that time in the 70's.

What a lovely image for the holidays. The smallness of this church really shows how wonderfully vast the mountians and trees are surrounding it. This leaves a felling of great tranquility to it. Wonderfully done.
Sorry to hear that your not felling too wonderful. I hope your back up and running soon. Kelly

A very good shot, Ann! There is something elevating, spiritual in those vertical lines of trees, chapel, mountain walls - the aspiration to the Supreme, maybe. Strengthened by that small bench meant for meditation and prayers, silent ones.Beautiful colours of winter,I like the smoky leafless trees as background for the chapel tower, a beautiful contrast. Get well soon! Gabriela

Gorgeous picture, Ann, and lovely dedication. Sorry that you have a cold, I hope you will get better soon, that's not the way to spend your Thanksgiving (here it was in October). I love the chapel and the color, postcard perfect, and especially the trees, very beautiful and majestic! Fantastic verticals - the chapel, the rock, the trees, all poining UP. A very thoughtful image for the message, and a great composition! Hugs - Ina
