I have to agree with Mark about the noise in the picture, it sort of detracts from the simple contrast displayed in the thumbnail. However, you have taken a great shot of the mountainscape which gives me an urge to want to go skiing again, hehe - nice job.

I find you have to fine tune in PS (photoshop). While opening the original picture go to Levels (Control + L) and adjust the levels. Looks like you are trying other options. This is resulting in loss of highlights and middle tones. If you notice the snow mountains have hot spots. Composition is good. May be a bit of foreground can be cropped.

Abhra - great scene! Capture is a bit noisy ... maybe from the upload.
I'd be tempted to crop out some of the foreground and make the focal point the people (?) on the ridge and the dramatic rise of mountain behind.
