Hi Roger, thank you for your comment. Yeah, Nepal is not as safe as it used to be, but then no country anywhere is truly safe any more. Wonder what that says about us as a civilisation. Like any other place, Nepal has both good sides and bad, but so far, at least for us, the former far outweighs the latter. Do keep in touch, I look forward to more feedback from you. Your page has roused my appetite and I wish there was someplace I could have a look at your panoramas.

Some hill! Makes me feel giddy just looking at it. Thank you for your kind comment on my "engrossed" photo. I am interested that you dropped a career in advertising to go to Nepal. Alas, not the safest place in the world these days... I trust it is all and more than you both hoped!

Thanks a lot Ann. Yeah, I wouldn't want to stay here either. It looks like a place Norman Bates could call home, doesn't it? To say nothing of the avalanches!

That mountain's quite far away though, there's a wide-ish gorge behind the house, if that is any comfort, which separates it from the mountain.

Thanks again for your comments. I really admore your work, and your feedback (negative ones as well, in fact more so) is valued.

WOW...a very precariously positioned house. You titled this one well. I don't think I'd like to live there. It looks like it's stood the test of ages though and is still standing after many many years. Amazing image. To have those mountains in your backyard is very imposing. I'd be afraid of avalanches. Beautiful composition.

Thank you for bringing this awesome image to us.

Thank you also for your comments on my images.

Cheers - Ann :)
