Tim - had to send this to my favorites first thing. Really, really like the composition and the dark cloudy sky sets a perfect tone for this shot - you can just feel cold air rolling in. The details are so good you really give your viewers so much to look at - you can see on the mountains just exactly where erosion takes place between snow, rain, and wind. The reflections in the water show even more details and the pines in the foreground and "fireweed" for lack of what to call it really add just the right amount of color and depth to this shot. I'm very fond of landscapes and this one is a "wall-hanger" for sure. Thanks for sharing - will be on the look out for more! Jan

Hi John,
I am using PS 9....under "sharpen" there is "Smart Sharpen" which I use to sharpen my images in 20% increments until it looks about right on my laptop LCD screen. The LCD screens make quite a difference it took me awhile to get used to them.
