About I didn't realize i was in a straitjacket
until it wasn't there...

Perhaps there is nothing quite so strong as sublimated passion, the one forced underground, which pulses with a secret life...

This is a reflection in a large mudpuddle just after sunset...i flipped the image to show the fence upright...

Tweaked contrast to brighten a bit....

Feedback appreciated....thanks!

Hi Gayle, Thanks for your comment, and pointing me to your portfolios. This is the way to approach street photography in Seattle! I barely took any photos in town, as I really didn't know how to aproach the city and do justice to the feel... I think this is it (or better put, the overall feel of your Seattle images PF) It's got "vibe" if you know what I mean. The city should be looked at using 3D goggles.... Great stuff, very inspirational. Now I'm sure I need to go back soon!

Cheers,

Hugo

One of my favourite photos on this site.
It is exactly the style of photography I like.

I also have an F60 Nikon and have started to use it with my Nikon D70. I must admit film is better than digital. You must be happy with your Camera Gayle.

Clever idea shooting the puddle - very modern looking shot - I like it. Now is this to fence the people in or fence them out? Just wondering, mark PS I read the about again, fence in I think......

Brilliant. Not only your handling of this subject matter but your words that go with it. Profound and beautiful.

Wow... that is really effective
And I like how the sunset goes from blue to pastel instead of trying to be bold with stronger reds... it's subtle and nice

Hi Gayle

A very interesting image. The fence which can be a metaphor for a lot of things. Seems I've had my share of fences lately.

This created a really dreamy image Gayle. I would never guess it is a reflection flipped. Very creative. Nice again!
