Very interesting photo. Where was this taken, and for what war? It may just be the scan, but it looks like the headstones are a bit blown out. Try printing it using split filtering using a #1 or #0 filter to get some tonality in the headstone for the first exposure and then printing the rest with a #4 if using VC paper.
