lovely eye contact of this little guy.
even baby animals have that innocence and purity .. don't they?

I think a tad of contrast would make this even better. I hope you'll like it:

This little one sure is a cutie - but the Wet One still has my heart. It was so nice that he/she perched in just the right place so that you could get such a great shot all nicely framed by the tree branches. It is also interesting to see that the owls coloring nicely matches the bark on the tree. It's kind of "fluffy" just like his down. Thanks for sharing another great shot. Jan

Your wonderful birds continue to amaze me, Darlene. This is an excellent shot of the downly little bird. I love it. Print it and hang it on the wall! Best wishes, Larry.

Thanks so much Guido, I thought the light was different on him, most of my owl shots seem so dark, he just looked like a stuffed animal! Darlene

This is a bit different look for an owl photo Darlene,

Most people go for the dark sinister look with these birds, I find. It's good to go against the grain sometimes.

Just a great shot Darlene. The expression, colours and sharpness combined with exposure are supberb as most of your photos are. Well done.

Cute title Darlene. What a doll with those great big (focused!) eyes. If I was a mouse I'd sure hate to see those eyes, though. Nice post.
