I love this shot! These birds are called Sandhill Cranes. They are considered to be endangered in the State of Florida. The reason for this is because they mate for life. I see them in my yard all the time!

I believe this is an adult sandhill crane. It is occasionally found in Canada as well, though not often in Quebec. Salute.

Ah ! Et voilà un des beaux oiseaux que ton ?il, un tantinet ornithologue, (sans en connaître leur appellation), en toi à capté. Ne t?en fait pas je ne serai pas celui qui vas te le dire non-plus. Mais il en reste que ce beau grand volatile est majestueux, belle prise Jacques, bravo.
