This was my first attempt at serious model photography and this was my friend Farideh's first attempt at modeling. I think you will agree that the model did a much better job than the photographer. Please send me your constructive feedback, as you can see, I have a lot to learn. A special thanks to my stunning model for being patient with me - this was my graduate present to her.
The major critique I have is that the background is both busier and brighter than your model, which competes for attention. The simplest thing to do is to re-frame in camera, so there is not so much head-room.
For faces, it's best to obey the rule-of-thirds and place her eye at the top-most 1/3 mark, and with this pose, scoot her a little to the left, giving her room to 'look into'.
