Hi Gayle
Winter days I hate them and love them at the same time. Scanner problem cused me a bit of grief but nothing a kiwi boy can't handle.

Hey Linda
Glad you liked the image. It is always nice to read your comments.
Bare winter trees have always fascinated me for as long as I can remember. Ther fragility seems to belie their real strength
Photographically the starkness of winter trees is hard for me to ignore . Sometimes I like to think that I can see myself in them.
Mark :-)

Hi Mark,
I love the bare trees of winter...so symbolic of change, even though at times things look stark or bare, we can be sure that new things are coming...I think that contrasting them against the plain sky further emphasizes the mood here, and I like the composition with the fence leading the eye to the line of trees...and a nice diagonal as well...moody and very well done mister...love the vignetting...:):)Linda

hi there,Kiwi! like this holga of a bleak but moody atmosphere....the effects of the holga give this landscape shot emotion of moments of solitude during less than stellar weather...i can imagine, with a cup of java in hand, looking out my window seeing such a view of yet another grey day and letting my daydreams take flight....yes,i like regards, gayle (hope all was sorted out with the film mishap ;> )

Great shot and good choice on project catagory. It gives off a real sense of isolation which works great with the slight blur. It's almost a surreal feeling of being in a place developed by man (fences, power lines) yet is devoid of life or any "living" emotion. Excellent work.
