Absolutely amazing photo Dave, and the couse that I believe it is the butterfly, it is unique, I'd never have seen that before and also you take a great shot full frame on her, with perfect details on it, very well seen image!

A good macro shot Dave, I totally agree with you that close-ups make us see the finest and smallest details and colors that we usually miss with our ordinary eyes.

Hi Dave this is really lovely, [I am just about to put up a butterfly shot too- and like you no hope of catching up] the detail is excellent and I agree they have such great textures on the wings it is lovely to be able to capture that and you certainly have here.

Enlarges, it is evident why you could this lovel butterfly photo "Green eyes." Every detail on the butterfly id razor-sharp, the green eyes, the demarcation between the wings etc. The dof is also great.
