Hi Neal, yes i've seen in your page a picture of Greenham Common, the one with your wife and your dogs; the air base was abandoned many years ago, i suppose.
I went one time in Fairford for RIAT, i think UK airshows are absolutely the best... your country is full of aviation enthusiasts!

Reminds of a couple of airshows in the '1970s in the UK at Greenham Common, where I watched the USAF F104s in action.
If you look at my profile you will see that the Greenham common airbase where they used to be based has changed a bit.

I am very happy to catch a aviator here :-) I know about that aerobatics but unfortunately I will be in Germany to attend a congress..and I definitely advice to you to watch the show of Turkish Stars .. as I know they are the only one supersonic aerobatic team...we have a Falcon sim. team on net www.kangaldogs.net (my nick name is unforgiven there) hope you can visit our site..

I have just been on your page, the portrait in front of the Falcon is very nice... next time i will upload some F-16 from various air forces, i too like very much that jet... Italian Air Force has some older F-16 in leasing, but Turkish Falcons are another thing... all new version aircraft! ;-)
Will you go in Italy for 4 september aerobatics team reunion, in Rivolto?
I know there will be Turkish Stars team, i like them, they fly very beautiful and aggressive exhibition.
