Hi Jim, thanks for the comment! Yes, Kerr's lake is west of Winnipeg, right on the border of Riding Mountain National Park, but not in the park. It is stocked with trout periodically, but they have trouble maintaining the population, as it's a very shallow lake, and tends to freeze in the winter right to the bottom. Dave.

Nice composition and presentation, gives a view of what the whole area looked like, a nice addition to the detail shot. Kerrs lake, is that west of Winnepeg ? seems like its a prairie lake really good for trout. I might have the wrong one jimc

A nice travel-type photograph. If this were in California, there would be a family living in it, having it appraised and taking out a loan on it. Oh, Canada! It's good to know there are pristine places still left on the continent.

I love old buildings. How is the fishing in Kerr's lake? I might just buy this and fix it up. It almost looks like the grounds around it have been kept up with the trees in the background. Del.

Very nice Dave, now I see where the photo I just commented on came from. These must be pretty sturdy structures to have weathered how many years.? Alison
