About	Habitat: Tropical and subtropical areas. Size: 60cm tall. Wild Diet: Small aquatic animals, fish, insects, molluscs and crustaceans. Behaviour: This bird is bright red in colour and has a long neck with a long, slender, downward curving beak. It nests in colonies in trees. Conservation: A sanctuary has been created in Trinidad and there the birds are becoming numerous.
