Great shot, Jim. Good idea to leave the "satellite" out of focus, it gives the idea of distance, adds a nice 2D effect.

It does a bit! Bad news about the 20D... hope its back soon! I have a lens away at the moment for repair so know how it feels to be without a favourite piece of kit....

This is great Jim, the colours/detail/clarity [especially the texture in the leaves] are all good. But the composition fits the title perfectly and yes it does look like a satellite orbiting. Sorry about your camera Margaret

Lovely colors! Was it a very tiny flower? I love those kind, the kind that you can't really appreciate until you take a nice macro of it to see all the fine details!
I like your idea about the smaller one orbiting the bigger one!! LOL Excellent DOF and composition.
