Thanks so much James. This image was taken late afternoon with the sun setting to the right as most of the lake images are. The sky is so varied out there I can get away with it.

hi judi.... beautiful still water here. did you take this shot early in the morning? the water always seems to be more placid earlier in the day, just as you have shown here. where exactly is this place? i may be in australia one day soon.

You just love scoring with these photographs... It's like playing soccer against you, i'm a beginner and your one of the world cup soccer players. But! Your showing me the "pro" moves. I watch your moves carefully and gain experience and ideas.

Another one in the 'WOW' portfolio!!! Just by looking at the thumbnail it's clear that it's a 'Judi'... super colors (some seem to have their own 'palette', you're certainly one of them), reflection (like the way you can see beneath the surface as well), angle and view/composition... well done (again ... ;-D)!!! I'm humming 'my secret place' (Joni Mitchell) whilst looking at it.... it's filling up nicely...!!!

Hahahaha....no! I am so familiar with that place. I know all the places to step without doing any damage. I know what each place looks like under different lightings. I often take people down there for photos. I know that place.
